Located around 7 miles from Manchester city centre, Stocport has a large population and many of the applicants are expected to from the local area.
Many of the job vacancies will be for call centre workers who will work in either telesales, advisory or support roles based on Sky’s award winning telecom / broadband / TV service.
Sky has been growing its market share within the telecoms and broadband sector in recent years and has recently reported an increase in first half fiscal earnings. It currently operates call centres in various towns and cities accross the UK.
