2012 will see the opening of a major new Marks and Spencer store in Ellesmere Port, a strategically located town with superb access to major cities including Liverpool, Chester and Manchester. The store will also be sited close to Cheshire Oaks, one of the UK’s largest outlet shopping complexes.
The store will be Marks and Spencer’s biggest outside of London and will measure in excess of 150,000 sq ft. The store will bring about a welcome boost for employment and around 350 jobs with M&S will be created in store. Many more will also be created in supporting roles, such as logistics, refuse and construction.
The store will feature the entire range of M&S products plus a cafe, restaurant and deli.
The store has been a long time in the planning. Marks and Spencer have assured the council that it expects the store will have no major affect on the surrounding towns and cities and it has no plans to close down any existing M&S branches located close by. They have also provided assurances that jobs in store will be offered to local people from the surrounding area.

my name is abigail and i was just woundering if you can help me only there is a new marks and spencer store due to open in ellesmere port i think in 2012 but i was woundering can you tell me how i can a apply for a job at this store only i don’t want to miss out and i don’t know how to find out so if can help please let me know what i need to do thanks abigail
