Car Firm to Create 700 New Jobs
Car retailer Arnold Clark has unveiled plans for UK wide expansion today, a move that will create around 700 jobs. The firm has stated that it can proceed with this expansion thanks to the stability in the car market since the introduction of the scrappage scheme.
The expansion will provide a jobs boost for the following towns and cities:
Glasgow 155 new jobs
Manchester 150 new jobs
Aberdeen 130 new jobs
Huddersfield 80 new jobs
Dundee 25 new jobs
Warrington 20 new jobs
Stafford 20 new jobs
Unnamed site 70 new jobs in North of England.
The jobs will be split, with around 500 vacancies for sales executives, 120 vacancies for modern apprenticeships and 80 admin and support roles.
