BT considers increasing Apprentice numbers

BT, the leading UK telecoms company has received a staggering 100 application forms for each apprentice job vacancy currently available. The response has prompted the company to consider increasing the number of positions it offers to young apprentices.

There are three distinct categories open to applicants; customer service, IT and telecommunications. Successful applicants taken on the BT apprentice scheme are offered an initial placement of up to 30 months. You are then assessed at the end of this time and if you have met all set targets you are guaranteed a job with BT.

To apply for an apprentice vacancy you should have GCSEs in mathematics and English. Higher level placements are available for those with A’ Levels.
